Architectural cladding in Perth

We install Colorbond standing seam and concealed-fix cladding on walls and roofs across Perth, for architect-designed homes and renovations. It's the clean, straight-line look you see on modern coastal homes. Dylan has more than 20 years in construction, much of it on architectural roofing and cladding, and he runs these jobs on site.

Questions we get asked

What's the difference between standing seam and a normal metal roof?

Standing seam has raised seams and hidden fixings, so there are no screws on show and the lines run dead straight. A normal metal roof, like Trimdek or corrugated, is screwed through the face of the sheet.

Can standing seam go on walls as well as the roof?

Yes. On our Scarborough job the same Surfmist standing seam runs over the roof, the upper walls and the flue box.

We're near the beach. Is Colorbond OK?

Yes, but the right steel depends on how close you are to the water. We'll check how close your site is and recommend the steel that suits it.

Can you work from our architect's drawings?

Yes. Send the drawings through the quote form and we'll price from them, and talk through any details with your architect.

Which colours suit standing seam?

Our recent jobs used Surfmist in Scarborough, Dover White in Ascot and Woodland Grey in Kings Park. We'll help you pick what suits the design.
